Bob Hinkle founded Hinkle Manufacturing, Inc. in 1962. As a young salesman for Owens-Illinois, Bob decided to solve unique packaging problems not met by corrugated boxes. With a $1,200 investment in fabricating equipment and Bob's innovative product design, Hinkle Manufacturing began business designing and manufacturing packaging for automotive glass, bumpers, and batteries.

Business has prospered steadily as the market expanded further with the interest in returnable packaging, recycling, just-in-time delivery, and superior part quality by the "Big Three" automotive companies. The formula for Hinkle's success, however, continues unchanged - creativity, ingenuity, and flexibility to fabricate whatever the customer needs.
